You have watched her grow from the 16 mo old toddler she was when we started this account, to a now 7 year old. [𝘴𝘸𝘪𝘱𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘦 4 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘗 𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘪𝘵!] Wow. I don't know what my kids will choose to do with this account in the future, but thanks for riding the wave!

| I wish I could reeeally capture P's personality in pictures. This girl is HI-larious, y'all! She is always laughing, playing, and joking around so sometimes it's annoying -- but she truly enjoys life and doesn't take herself too seriously [unless she's slaying for a photo]. She is my reminder to have fun, to laugh often, to be more spontaneous, and to take this life in. 💗 #sponsored #ad @HibbettSports #NikeAF1 #styledbyHibbett // #theprinceandthep #theprinceandthepkicks

| Halloween is one of my kiddos favorite times of year. They are already choosing costumes + picking out goodies to pass out to trick-or-treaters! 🎃 This year we'll be giving out Welch's Fruit Snacks! They are made with real fruit, are gluten-free, fat free, and come in fun Halloween-themed shapes(think bats, pumpkins, ghosts, & more!). They are perfect for trick-or-treaters and are available at Walmart, Target, Walgreens, and Dollar General stores nationwide. #ad @welchsfruitsnck #WFSHalloween // #theprinceandthep

| 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵.
I didn't always know I had OCD, I just thought I was very verrrry particular. I would set something down on a table, then pick it up and put it down 4+ times until it "felt" right. The TV volume had to be on an even number or on a 5,10, 15, 20 type scale -- a divisible number. I would clean the same surface over again, 3+ times until it felt good. I would leave the house, lock the door, get to my car, then go back up and check the door -- twisting the doorknob in the same direction several times until I felt good about it. Over the years, my OCD manifested in different ways -- moving away from rituals and into collecting. I would buy [insert embarrassing # here] bottles of nail polish a week -- reading nail blogs. My obsessive compulsions eventually moved away from collecting and into loss/recovery - where I am today. I hate losing things. I can lay in bed and think about something and how I haven't seen it -- and will get up at 3 am and look for it. Finding thing makes me feel complete. Losing things makes me feel...lost + incomplete. It effects my whole household, often making us late to places or alternating my mood, obsessing over them. A couple of years ago, my OCD was met with anxiety after cutting P's hair (again -- loss) and then again when I was hacked (another loss) and each time, depression followed. My OCD manifests itself in different ways + I don't get to pick or chose. ----
Does that sound crazy? Maybe to you -- but mental illness is often misunderstood. Maybe you are someone who refers to the weather as bi-polar or someone who uses the word "OCD" to describe being very neat or clean. Maybe you confuse nervousness or fear with anxiety or you describe feeling sad or lonely as depression -- but none of these things are the same.
Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay -- something I am VERY passionate about. It has no face + no rationale, yet the world is filled with stigmas + assumptions. Be kind to others, be gentle with yourself, know your triggers -- then avoid them, and check on the people in your life who are struggling. They matter. And you matter to them. ❤ // #theprinceandthepmommy

#tbt 𝗣 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘄𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲. I will put our faces together in the mirror or on my phone + ask her if she's my twin or my mini and well, she raises her eyebrows, gives me a sympathetic smile, and says "no". One time she even said, "I'm not trying to hurt your feelings, but no" -- then she giggled. 🙄 One time, a nice older man in our line at McDonald's told her, "Young Lady, you copied your mother's face." P smiled + and as soon as he got out of line she whispered, "Mommy that man is old + probably needs glasses." 😩 #frigginAries 𝙎𝙬𝙞𝙥𝙚 + 𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙔𝘼'𝙇𝙇 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠! 🧐 [We are the same ages in each pic.] // #theprinceandthep

𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮. 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮.

As a content creator, you feel an overwhelming need to continually create. To do more, to be more, to keep up. You live in a constant state of urgency so your creativity is often stiffled by deadlines + controlled content briefs. You operate in tight turnarounds, you get lost in the shuffle, lost in the hustle, lost in the doing -- and focus less on creating.
I can't remember the last time I felt excited about creating new content. I miss the feelings of excitement that came with exploring a location, putting together a bomb azz look, and having fun in the process. I miss seeing a pic on the back of my camera + feeling excitement because I knew the shot was THE shot.
Creatives get stuck + we burn out. We pour so much into sharing our personal tips, ideas, experiences, inspiration, and advice on this [free] platform that sometimes -- we truly are pouring from an empty cup. You can help fill us up by being supportive even when we aren't feeling our most creative, engaging with our sponsored content, and being supportive when we take much needed breaks. As for me + mine, I can't promise every pic will be interesting, but my words will always be real. ♡♡♡ #soulcialmedia // #theprinceandthep #BaddieP

| 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿. 🍁 As the leaves turn + the weather shifts, I see turning points in my life + a shift in my own perspectives. I claim peace in this new season, conquering over my anxiety, calm in my spirit, clarity through my interactions, and ask God to remove anything + anyone that I clung to that doesn't glorify Him or serve me.

Don't be afraid to let go, to leave behind, to learn the hard lessons. 'Tis the season. 🍂 // #theprinceandthep #mySweetP
